MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6 PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT WERE CLERK BARBARA EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TRUSTEE BOB KESLING AND TREASURER PATTI GEERS. WE HAD 3 GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFFS REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE.
COUNTY REPORT WAS GIVEN BY COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN. TALKED ABOUT THE BROADBAND STUDY.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS. BOB SECONDED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 4/30/22 WAS $326,864.63, RECEIPTS FOR MAY WERE $143,060.08, INTEREST WAS $34.19, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $67,805.44. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $402,153.46 ON 5/31/22.
CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $300.00 ON 5/31/22.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 5/31/22,
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $292,216.59 ON 5/31/22.

For Immediate Release: Fisher Road – Between Peterson Road and Victory Corner Road
Victory Township, Mason County
Fisher Road Bridge Closed to ALL Traffic for Bridge Construction
Fisher Road between Peterson Road and Victory Road will be closed to ALL traffic on Monday May 15, 2023. The existing 52’ long by 20’ wide bridge is being replaced with a new 70’ long by 28’ wide bridge. Hardman Contracting from Ludington is the Contractor. The project is anticipated to be completed by September 15th, 2023.

RESIDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO UNLOAD THEIR OWN REFUSE AND WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE PICK-UP OR SMALL TRAILER LOAD TO PREVENT HAZARDOUS TRAFFIC BACK-UP CONDITIONS ALONG STILES ROAD. RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO BOX OR BUNDLE THEIR REFUSE TO EXPEDITE UNLOADING.BRING ITEMS TO WASTE REDUCTION TRANSFER SITE 5848 N. STILES RD., LUDINGTON 843-9129 . NO COMMERCIAL REFUSE-RESIDENTIAL ONLY/NO OUT OF TOWNSHIP TRASH/REFUSE. APPLIANCES WITH FREON, YARD REFUSE, CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, TIRES, CHEMICALS AND ANTI-FREEZE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
PROOF OF VICTORY TOWNSHIP RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED.
