MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6 PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT WERE CLERK BARBARA EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TRUSTEE BOB KESLING, TREASURER PATTI GEERS, WE HAD THREE GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFF KIM COLE GAVE THE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT.
JANET ANDERSEN GAVE THE COUNTY COMMISSIONER REPORT. TALKED ABOUT BROADBAND.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS. BOB SECONDED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 4/30/21 WAS $244,892.98, RECEIPTS FOR MAY
WERE $25,515.72, INTEREST WAS $65.17, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $21,539.34. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $248,934.53 ON 5/31/21.
CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $300.00 ON 5/31/21.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 5/31/21.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $232,007.31 ON 5/31/21.
HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 4/30/21 WAS $1,119.52, THERE WERE NO RECEIPTS, NO DISBURSEMENTS,
INTEREST WAS .04 cents. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1,119.56 ON 5/31/21.
TAX ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT .00 ON 5/31/21.
TREASURERS REPORT ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED.
CLERK REPORTED THAT SHE HAD RECEIVED A DOCK PERMIT APPLICATION FROM WINN WOLF, ALL PAPER WORK IS IN ORDER, AND NEEDS A MOTION TO APPROVE.
JIM MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE WILL WOLF’S DOCK PERMIT. JEROME SECONDED
TOWNSHIP CLEANUP WENT WELL, WE FILLED 7 30-YARD DUMPSTERS.
ROAD COMMISSION DID A GREAT JOB ON THE BRINE, HAVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE COMPLIMENT ON THE ROADS.

It’s that time again to ensure that we are keeping harmful materials out of our environment! Chemicals, waste oils, non-working electronics, pharmaceuticals and more can be dropped off during collection day.
As we did last year, the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) planning committee asks participants to follow the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Those dropping off their HHW must remain inside their vehicles and wear face masks when interacting with volunteers. Volunteers and staff will collect the HHW from vehicles. The HHW committee also asks that participants organize HHW in their vehicles beforehand for easy access during the collection, this will allow participants to get through the line faster. For example, make sure all oil is together, lithium batteries are separated from alkaline, all electronics are together, etc. Also, take into consideration the layout of the HHW collection for ease of unloading vehicles. At the Mason County HHW collection site, items will be off-loaded in the following order: 1.) Electronics 2.) Batteries 3.) Pharmaceuticals 4.) Pesticides/chemicals/oil/miscellaneous.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the August 2nd township meeting & picnic At Victory Park is canceled and a regular board meeting will be held at 6:00 pm at Victory townhall.

Seal coat Fisher Rd from Stiles west to Victory Corner Road
