MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:05 PM. BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT WERE SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, CLERK BARBARA EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TREASURER PATTI GEERS, TRUSTEE BOB KESLING, AND, WE HAD 3 GUEST ATTEND. MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED. SHERIFF’S REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE. COUNTY REPORT GIVEN BY COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN. JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS. BOB SECONDED MOTION CARRIED TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 5/31/21 WAS $248,934.53, INTEREST FOR JUNE WAS $31.83, RECEIPTS WERE $3,000.00, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $10,861.99. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $241,104.37 ON 6/30/21. CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $300.00 ON 6/30/21. PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 6/30/21. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $232,007.31 ON 6/30/21. HALL RESERVATION BALANCE ON 5/31/21 WAS $1,119.56, NO RECEIPTS, NO DISBURSEMENTS FOR JUNE, INTEREST WAS .05 CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1,119.61 ON 6/30/21 TAX ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT .00 ON 6/30/21. TREASURERS REPORT ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED JIM MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO CHARGE 3% PENALTY ON ALL TAX PAYMENTS RECEIVED BETWEEN FEBRUARY 15TH THRU FEBRUARY 28TH. AND, TO CHARGE A 1 % ADMINISTRATION FEE ON TAX BILLS. BOB SECONDED MOTION CARRIED BOB MADE A MOTION TO RAISE THE FEE FOR FULL BURIALS TO $450.00, BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 2021. PATTI SECONDED MOTION CARRIED BOB MADE A MOTION THAT THE TOWNSHIP WILL NOT EXCEPT THE RESOLUTION OFFER FROM ATTORNEY CARLOS ALVERADO (VICTORY TOWNSHIP PARK v RON & DAWN SARTO) OFFER: THEY WILL PAY $1000.00, AND, DON’T WANT TO BE TAXED WATER FRONTAGE. THE TOWNSHIP BOARD AGREES TO DECLINE THE OFFER.. JEROME SECONDED MOTION CARRIED BARB MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSAL TO DEMOLISH WHAT IS KNOWN AS THE VICTORY BALL FIELD, LOCATED ON NORTH GORDON ROAD. TO INCLUDE: REMOVE PIT TOILET BUILDING, INCLUDING THE TANK, AND ALL CONCRETE. AND, REMOVE ALL OF THE WEST BALL FIELD, INCLUDING THE TWO DUGOUTS, AND ALL FENCING, AND BLEACHERS. QUOTE INCLUDES DISPOSAL OR RECYCLING OF ALL MATERIALS IN A LEGAL MANNER. $4000.00 JEROME SECONDED MOTION CARRIED TODD STOWE CAME TO THE MEETING ASKING QUESTIONS OF THE BOARD ABOUT PROPERTY LINES THAT ARE ADJACENT TO VICTORY PARK PROPERTY. BASICALLY WANTING TO FIND OUT IF HE OWNS TO THE LAKE OR THE TOWNSHIP OWNS IT. MOTION TO ADJOURN AT 7:38 PM |
