MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6 PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, ALL BOARD MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: EGELER, GEERS, PAPES KESLING. WE HAD SIX GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFF’S REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE.. SHERIFF COLE ALSO REPORTED ON THE COMPARISON OF CALLS FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS. BOB SECONDED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 11-30-18 WAS $261,497.30, RECEIPTS FOR DECEMBER WERE $30,833.00. DISBURSEMENTS WERE $139,121.80.(WHICH INCLUDED $127,851.91, PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND CD, WITH MICHIGAN CLASS, BACK INTO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND) LEAVING A BALANCE OF $153,208.50 ON 12-31-18.
PETTY CASH AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCES REMAIN AT $100.00 AND $200.00 ON 12-31-18.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 12-31-18.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE ON 11-30-18 WAS .00, CD INVESTED WITH MICHIGAN CLASS FOR $127,851.91, WITH VARIABLE INTEREST. LEAVING A BALANCE ON $127,851.91 ON 12-31-18.
HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 11-30-18 WAS $1,117.74. RECEIPTS FOR DECEMBER WERE $30.00, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $30.00. INTEREST WAS .07 CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1,117.81 ON 12-31-18.
TAX ACCOUNT BALANCE ON 11-30-18 WAS $14,031.28, RECEIPTS FOR DECEMBER WERE $368.799.82 (INCLUDES MI CLASS ACCOUNT) DISBURSEMENTS WERE $89,297.30, INTEREST WAS $68.85. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $293,602.65 ON 12-31-18.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP PROPERTY ON HAMLIN LAKE SURVEY IS DONE, AND IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT THERE IS A BOAT HOUSE ON TOWNSHIP PROPERTY. JIM IS SEEING AN ATTORNEY TOMORROW, TO SEE WHAT ACTION TO TAKE NEXT.
BOB MADE A MOTION TO HAVE PLM DO A WATER TREATMENT FOR THE WEEDS AT VICTORY PARK, ONCE FOR $1,100.00.
COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN GAVE THE COUNTY REPORT.

The April 4th meeting will be held in-person @6:00 pm at Victory townhall. Face coverings are still required.
The Victory Township 2021 spring clean-up is scheduled for May 15th 9 am till noon. Because of covid-19 concerns volunteer help will be limited so residents must be able to unload their own refuse. Residents will be limited to one regular sized pick-up or small trailer load to prevent creating hazardous traffic back-up conditions along Stiles Rd. Residents are also urged to box or bundle their refuse to expedite unloading. Further details will be provided on the web site,Mason County Press,Ludington Daily News,and facebook after our April board meeting.
The Mason County Road Commission is announcing that seasonal weight and speed restrictions will be lifted effect Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 6 a.m.
Weight and speed restrictions are enforced to minimize the damage caused during Michigan’s seasonal thaw.
