MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:00 PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR. ALL BOARD MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:EGELER, PAPES, GEERS, KESLING. AND, WE HAD FIVE GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFF’S REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS, CLERK EGELER STATED THAT THE BUDGET NEEDED TO BE AMENDED. MOVE $2000.00 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE FIRE FUND. JEROME MADE A MOTION TO MOVE THE $2000.00 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE FIRE FUND. BOB SECONDED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 12-31-17 WAS $113,261.46. RECEIPTS FOR JANUARY WERE $2,299.43, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $5,529.88, LEAVING A BALANCE OF $110,031.01 ON 1-31-18.
PETTY CASH AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAIN AT $100.00 AND $200.00 ON 1-31-18.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 1-31-18.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $126,662.80 ON 1-31-18.
HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 12-31-17 WAS $1,117.05. RECEIPTS FOR JANUARY WERE $130.00, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $130.00, INTEREST WAS .04 CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1,117.09 ON 1-31-18.
TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE ON 12-31-17 WAS $191,533.46, RECEIPTS FOR JANUARY WERE $332,476.39, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $487,307.58, NO INTEREST REPORTED AT THIS TIME. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $36,702.27 ON 1-31-18.
TREASURERS REPORT ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED
JIM REPORTED THAT THERE WILL BE A WORK SHOP FOR A FORESTRY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM , TO BE HELD AT THE VICTORY TOWNHALL ON JULY 20TH AT 8:00 AM TO 12 NOON. THE SPEAKER WILL BE JOSH SHIELDS.
BOB MADE A MOTION TO HAVE A SPECIAL MEETING TO ADOPT THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR BUDGET. JEROME SECONDED

Will be taking a road tour with the road commission to determine 2020 rd. projects-residents are welcome to notify the township board of ideas or trouble spots
The recent scrap tire pick-up day by the Mason County Junk Authority held in Sept. accumulated 969 tires with Victory Township residents bringing in 325 tires.
Victory Township will be looking into updating our web site in the upcoming future. We will be looking into possible new ADA(American Disability Act) requirements as well as updating pictures,cemetery ordinance,etc. Any thoughts or ideas on what anyone would like to see added are welcome. Contact me for your thoughts.

All meeting are open to public .Please note that no hearings will be held at the Organizational meeting.(March 5th 2019)
The Board of Review will hear appeals on March 12th 9am – noon and 1pm-4pm. & March 14th 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm
