REGULAR BOARD MEETING

MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT CLERK BARBARA EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TREASURER PATTI GEERS, AND TRUSTEE BOB KESLING. WE HAD SEVEN GUEST ATTEND. MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED. SHERIFF’S REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE. JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS. BOB SECONDED MOTION CARRIED TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 2-28-17 WAS $59,294.16, RECEIPTS FOR MARCH WERE $73,855.70, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $7,132.37. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 3-31-17 OF $126,017.49. PETTY CASH AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCES REMAIN AT $100.00 AND $200.00 ON 3-31-17. PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT 62,821.14 ON 3-31-17. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $210,055.83 ON 3-31-17. HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 2-28-17 WAS $1,116.58. RECEIPTS WERE $130.00 DISBURSEMENTS WERE $130.00. INTEREST WAS .05 CENTS, LEAVING A BALANCE ON 3-31-17 OF $1,116.63. TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE ON 2-28-17 WAS $147,543.36. RECEIPTS FOR 3-31-17 WAS $11,617.98, DISBURSEMENTS $11,617.98, INTEREST WAS $14.23. TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 3-31-17 WAS $126,017.49. RECEIPTR FOR APRIL WERE $174.15, DISBURSEMENTS WERE $11,071.73. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 4-30-17 OF $115,119.91. PETTY CASH AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCES REMAIN AT $100.00 AND $200.00 ON 4-30-17. PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 4-30-17. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE HAD A CD MATURE. THE BEGINNING BALANCE ON 3-31-17 WAS $210,055.83, INTEREST FROM THE CD WAS $800.04, LEAVING A BALANCE ON 4-30-17 OF $210,855.87. HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 3-31-17 WAS $1,116.63, THERE WERE NO RECEIPTS, AND NO DISBURSEMENTS, INTEREST WAS .05 CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 4-30-17 OF $1,116.67. TAX SAVINGS BALANCE REMAINS AT .00 ON 4-30-17. BOTH TREASURERS REPORTS WERE ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED. CLERK REPORTED THAT SHE HAD DOCK PERMITS READY FOR APPROVAL FOR LUCIUS BECK AND CHUCK STOUT, INSURANCE AND APPLICATIONS UP TO DATE, JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE DOCK PERMITS FOR LUCIUS BECK AND CHUCK STOUT. BOB SECONDED MOTION CARRIED COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN GAVE THE COUNTY REPORT. COUNTY BUDGET WAS $13,273,000.00. MOTION TO ADJOURN AT 6:57 PM. |
Will be taking a road tour with the road commission to determine 2020 rd. projects-residents are welcome to notify the township board of ideas or trouble spots
The recent scrap tire pick-up day by the Mason County Junk Authority held in Sept. accumulated 969 tires with Victory Township residents bringing in 325 tires.
Victory Township will be looking into updating our web site in the upcoming future. We will be looking into possible new ADA(American Disability Act) requirements as well as updating pictures,cemetery ordinance,etc. Any thoughts or ideas on what anyone would like to see added are welcome. Contact me for your thoughts.

All meeting are open to public .Please note that no hearings will be held at the Organizational meeting.(March 5th 2019)
The Board of Review will hear appeals on March 12th 9am – noon and 1pm-4pm. & March 14th 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm
