- The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Supervisor Bob Kesling. Board members present were Clerk Sarah Grabowski, Treasurer Patti Geers, Trustee Wayne Andersen, and Trustee Jerome Papes. There were five guests in attendance.
- A motion was made by Andersen with support from Papes to approve the May minutes as presented. Motion Carried.
- Commissioner Andersen reported the Scottville school has been demolished and the contractor will move on to Freesoil next.
- A motion was made by Andersen with support from Papes to approve the payment of May bills as presented totaling $21,823.76. Motion carried. See Attachment 1.
- A motion was made by Papes with support from Andersen to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried. See Attachment 2.
- Clerk asked for approval of dock permits, a motion was made by Andersen with support from Papes to approve dock permits for Charles and Edwin Stout. Motion carried.
A meeting with Jamie from Wayfinder is set up for June 9th thru the 12th. After talking with our mail delivery driver and the postmaster the Mailbox for the hall will be installed at BJ Andersen’s home on Victory Drive. Due to traffic and the slight incline on Stiles Rd, they did not want it located on Stiles Rd and where they proposed on Victory Drive there are too many utility lines located.
- Supervisor report Road brine will be applied June 10th-11th. Junk authority added 8 new residences to the list. Should we impose a limit on the number of cars a residence can have? Just something to think about. The Quality of Gordon Road was discussed, Papes said he thought the road was fine, no other input was received. Cameras on the exterior of the hall should be installed soon; the deposit has been made. Picnic Tables were ordered should be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery that was 2 weeks ago.
- Trustee Andersen nothing to report.
- Trustee Papes Posts around the hall need attention. Scholtens Plumbing was out again for the pump.
- Kesling made a motion to adjourn to closed session at 6:25pm. Motion carried.
- After a brief discussion the decision was made to reject the proposal made by Mary Cartier regarding the reverter clause,
- Kesling made a motion with support from Papes to adjourn regular session at 6:56pm. Motion carried.
