REGULAR BOARD MEETING
FEBRUARY 2, 2015
MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR. ALL BOARD MEMBERS WERE PRESENT, CLERK BARB EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TREASURER PATTI GEERS, TRUSTEE BOB KESLING. WE HAD NINE GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFFS REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF KIM COLE.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF JANUARY BILLS. BOB SECONDED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 12-31-14 WAS $68,156.27. RECEIPTS FOR
JANUARY WERE $20,005.33. DISBURSEMENTS WERE $19,178.71. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 1-31-15 OF $68,982.89.
PETTY CASH AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCES REMAIN AT $100.00 AND $200.00 ON 1-31-15.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 1-31-15.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $207,877.17 ON 1-31-15.
HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 12-31-14 WAS $1,145.34. THERE WERE NO RECEIPTS AND NO DISBURSEMENTS
IN JANUARY, INTEREST WAS FIVE CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 1-31-15 OF $1,145.39.
TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE ON 12-31-14 WAS $56,779.89. RECEIPTS FOR JANAUARY WERE $277,223.01, TOTAL
DISBURSEMENTS WERE $284,089.37. NO INTEREST REPORTED AT THIS TIME, LEAVING A BALANCE ON 1-31-15 OF $49,913.53.
TREASURERS REPORT ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO PAY $450.00 TO HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUR WASTE AGAIN THIS YEAR. BOB SECONDED
ROAD COMMISSION TOLD THE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS OF MASON COUNTY, THAT THEY WILL NO LONGER DO MEDICAL
JIM WAS GIVEN A ROAD CONTRACT FOR THE BRINING AND ONE PIGGY BACK BRINING, THE COST TO THE TOWNSHIP WILL
BE $34,100.00. THE ROAD COMMISSION SAID THEY WANT THE BRINE CONTRACTS IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
BOB MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE BRINE CONTRACT FOR $34,100,00. JEROME SECONED
SALARY RESOLUTION WAS TABLED UNTIL MARCH MEETING.
COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN GAVE THE COUNTY REPORT.
RON KREPPS WITH RURAL FIRE AUTHORITY CAME TO THE MEETING, SAID THAT THE RURAL FIRE AUTHORITY WILL BE
ASKING FOR A RENEWAL MILLAGE.
MOTION TO ADJOURN AT 7:15 PM.
Will be taking a road tour with the road commission to determine 2020 rd. projects-residents are welcome to notify the township board of ideas or trouble spots
The recent scrap tire pick-up day by the Mason County Junk Authority held in Sept. accumulated 969 tires with Victory Township residents bringing in 325 tires.
Victory Township will be looking into updating our web site in the upcoming future. We will be looking into possible new ADA(American Disability Act) requirements as well as updating pictures,cemetery ordinance,etc. Any thoughts or ideas on what anyone would like to see added are welcome. Contact me for your thoughts.

All meeting are open to public .Please note that no hearings will be held at the Organizational meeting.(March 5th 2019)
The Board of Review will hear appeals on March 12th 9am – noon and 1pm-4pm. & March 14th 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm
