MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6 PM BY SUPERVISOR JIM MAZUR, BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT WERE CLERK BARB
EGELER, TRUSTEE JEROME PAPES, TRUSTEE BOB KESLING AND TREASURER PATTI GEERS. WE HAD TEN GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES FROM MAY WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO PAY MAYS BILLS . BOB SECONDED
MOTION CARRIED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 4-30-13 WAS $288,571.47. RECEIPTS FOR MAY
WERE $7,458.89, AND DISBURSEMENTS WERE $19,004.85. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $277,025.51 ON 5-31-13.
PETTY CASH BALANCE REMAINS AT $100.00, AND CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $200.00 ON 5-31-13.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 5-31-13.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $246,551.85 ON 5-31-13.
VICTORY TOWSHIP HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 4-30-13 WAS $1114.35, RECEIPTS FOR MAY WERE $30.00.
DISBURSEMENTS WERE $30.00. INTEREST WAS FIVE CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1114.40 ON 5-31-13.
VICTORY TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT .00 ON 5-31-13.
TREASURERS REPORT ACCEPTED AS PRESENTED.
TOWNSHIP CLEANUP WAS A SUCCESS, WE HAD LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS (THANK YOU!!). WE WERE DOWN FROM LAST YEAR WITH LESS DUMPSTERS, AND LESS CARS.
JIM REPORTED THAT WE DID GET THE GRANT FOR A TIRE CLEANUP FOR VICTORY TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY. WHEN
APPLYING FOR THE GRANT, JIM TRIED TO PICK THE SAME DATE AS OUR TOWNSHIP CLEANUP, AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, HE GOT
THE RESPONSE BACK AT THE END OF THE DAY OF THE TOWNSHIP CLEANUP. SO, WE HAD TO PICK A NEW DATE, BUT IT HAS TO
TAKE PLACE AT THE ADDRESS OF WHERE YOU APPLIED FOR THE GRANT. SO, WASTE REDUCTION IS GOING TO ALLOW THE TOWN-
SHIP TO HAVE THE TIRE COLLECTION AT THE TRANSFER SITE. IT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 22ND FROM 9AM TO 12 NOON. DETAILS
WILL BE ADVERTISED IN THE PAPER, ON THE WEBSITE, AND ON MEDIA GROUP THE INTERNET NEWS.
SHERIFF KIM COLE CAME IN AND GAVE THE SHERIFFS REPORT. HE NOTED THAT IF THE TOWNSHIP WOULD LIKE, HE WILL
MAKE A COUPLE OF THE JAILS INMATES AVAILABLE TO HELP AT THE TIRE COLLECTION. HE SAID IT WOULD HELP US AND THE
INMATES LIKE TO GET OUT ON WORK DETAILS. JIM SAID THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
TALKED ABOUT THE REPAIR OF THE SEAWALL AT VICTORY PARK.
COUNTY COMMISSIONER JANET ANDERSEN GAVE THE COUNTY REPORT. SHE SAID THAT AN ANONYMOUS DONOR GAVE
$180,000.00 TO THE FAIRGROUNDS. ALSO, THE MASTER PLAN IS GOING TO BE ON COUNTY WEBSITE (MASONCOUNTY.NET) .
THERE WILL BE A 42 DAY REVIEW PERIOD. SHE ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT.
