MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 PM BY SUPERVISOR RUSSELL ANDERSEN. BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT WERE CLERK BARB EGELER, TREASURER PATTI GEERS, TRUSTEES JIM MAZUR AND JEROME PAPES. WE HAD NINETEEN GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFF’S REPORT WAS GIVEN BY TOM TRENNER THE UNDER SHERIFF.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,734.90. ALSO, INCLUDED REIMBURSEMENT TO WAYNE ANDERSEN FOR BOARD DISPLAY THAT HE HAD GOTTEN FROM JACKPINE BUSINESS FOR $307.39, FOR VICTORY PARK.

$252,821.70. RECEIPTS FOR APRIL WERE $713.10. DISBURSEMENTS WERE $5,734.90. LEAVING A
BALANCE ON 4-30-11 OF $247,799.90.
CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $200.00 ON 4-30-11.
PETTY CASH ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $100.00 ON 4-30-11.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE ON 3-31-11 WAS $62,821.14. CD #330 FROM
SAFE HARBOR CREDIT UNION MATURED ON 4-26-11 FOR $426.16. AND, WAS DEPOSITED INTO
THE GENERAL FUND. NEW CD WAS PURCHASED FROM SAFE HARBOR CREDIT UNION. BALANCE
REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 4-30-11.
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $241,090.54 ON $4-30-11.
VICTORY TOWNSHIP RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 3-31-11 WAS $1,109.76. NO RECEIPTS
AND NO DISBURSEMENTS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL, INTEREST WAS .23 CENTS. LEAVING A
NEW BALANCE ON 4-30-11 OF $1,109.99.
VICTORY TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT .00 ON 4-30-11.

GARY DITTMER FROM MASON COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION HERE TO TALK ABOUT ROADS.
DAN QUINN WAS ASKED BY SOME RESIDENTS TO COME AND TALK ABOUT ORV’S. TO SEE IF PEOPLE HAD ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT HAVING ORVS LEGAL ON ROADS IN VICTORY. THREE TOWNSHIPS IN MASON COUNTY HAVE ADOPTED TOWNSHIP ORDINANCES MAKING ORVS LEGAL ON ROADS.
DR. SQUIRES IS HERE TO GIVE COUNTY REPORT. AND, WE TALKED ABOUT WIND FARMS, AND ORVS.

In compliance with MCL 168.720j, you are hereby informed of the details regarding the Precinct Canvas of Early Votes. The Precinct Canvas of Early Votes is the culmination of the 9 days of early voting and is when the board completes the tabulation of ballots and reports the results of the ballots cast during the Early Voting period.

Scrap tire clean up day
The Mason County Junk authority is hosting a scrap tire collection day September 28th. Hours will be from 9AM until Noon or until the trailer is filled. Victory Township is part of the Junk Authority and that allows us to participate in this event. They have secured a single semi-trailer this year and once its full the event is over. You are allowed to bring 4 tires for FREE and after that it is $3 per tire. Passenger vehicle tires only, no wheels, commercial, tractor, semi or industrial tires. Event to be held at the Mason County Road commission building in Scottville. There may be help on site but be patient or be prepared to unload your own tires and place them in the trailer.
