MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7PM BY SUPERVISOR RUSSELL ANDERSEN. ALL BOARD MEMBERS WERE PRESENT, EGELER, PAPES, MAZUR AND GEERS. WE HAD SIX GUEST ATTEND.
MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED.
SHERIFFS REPORT WAS GIVEN BY SHERIFF JEFF FIERS. HE SAID THINGS HAVE BEEN PRETTY QUIET IN VICTORY TOWNSHIP. HE TALKED ABOUT COMMUNITY WATCHES, AND ASKED OUR BOARD IF THIS WAS SOMETHING WE MIGHT WANT TO START IN OUR AREA.
JEROME MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS IN THE AMOUNT OF $8602.17. ALSO, APPROVED SOME JANUARY DISBURSEMENTS TO HANKWITZ, BRIGGS, QUALITY SERVICE CENTER. JIM SECONDED. MOTION CARRIED
TREASURER REPORTED THAT THE MONEY MARKET FUND BALANCE ON 11-30-09 WAS
$183,318.92. RECEIPTS FOR DECEMBER WERE $583.17. DISBURSEMENTS WERE $8602.17. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 12-31-09 OF $175,299.92.
PETTY CASH ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $100.00 ON 12-31-09. CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE REMAINS AT $200.00 ON 12-31-09.
PERPETUAL CARE CERTIFICATE BALANCE REMAINS AT $62,821.14 ON 12-31-09. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FUND BALANCE REMAINS AT $196,691.23 ON 12-31-09.
VICTORY TOWNSHIP HALL RESERVATION FUND BALANCE ON 11-30-09 WAS $1104.44,
RECEIPTS FOR DECEMBER WERE $60.00. DISBURSEMENTS WERE $60.00, INTEREST WAS 47 CENTS. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $1104.91 ON 12-31-09.
VICTORY TAX SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE ON 11-30-09 WAS $8209.52. TOTAL DEPOSITS FOR DECEMBER WERE $243,144.55. TOTAL DISBURSEMENTS WERE $68,779.13. INTEREST POSTED WAS $18.46. LEAVING A BALANCE ON 12-31-09 OF $182,593.40.

TOWNSHIP RECEIVED A LETTER FROM DYKEMA GOSSETT PLLC, REGARDING A REQUEST FOR GRANT OF FRANCHISE TO OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (FORMERLY DOW CHEMICAL) AND MTD PIPELINE, TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN VICTORY TOWNSHIP. THEY ARE SEEKING
THE PROPOSED FRANCHISE SO THAT THEY MAY CONTINUE TO TRANSMIT BRINE TO OCCIDENTAL’S PROCESSING FACILITY.
